Clearlake Couple Won Hands Up Lake County

Nick and Mayra Lam from Lam Printing in Clearlake took the $15,000 first prize at the “Hands Up Lake County” Business Plan competition. The prize was presented by Alan Flora, City Manager of Clearlake and Maryann Schmid, Founder and Vice-Chair of 1Team 1Dream which created the competition.

Second prize of $5,000 went to Lisa Wilson of Clear Lake Boat Rental, third prize of $3,000 went to David Brown of Susie Q. Donuts and espresso. The 4th place prize sponsored by the city of Lakeport was $1,500 and was awarded to Stacie Judson of Wild Bee Creations and in 5th place was Dottie Bates owner of True Grit Coffee House in Loch Lomond. A $2,500 prize for the Best Business in Lakeport sponsored by the Lodge at Blue Lakes went to Mark and Tammy Lipps of the Ripe Choice Farm and Catering.
